AI Employer Brand
A repository of employer brand information that ensures AI-generated scripts are meaningful to the user and provide an employer brand flavour to content, such as job advertisements.
Overview
My Role
UI/UX, Product Design and Digital Design.
Problem
Employer Brand leaders find it hard to consistently fold the official EVP, values and differentiators into their content/message.
Concept
Create a page/repository where employer brand metadata can be saved and adjusted. This repository would then play a role in ensuring AI-generated scripts are meaningful to the business, on the topic and have an employer brand “flavour”.
Process
Our CEO has some of the top employer brand leaders in his network, with some being ex-customers, he wanted to touch base with them to show how the product has evolved and get their impression on our concept in the form of a Figma Prototype. Our head of product joined the call to validate some of our concepts and to ask some basic usability questions. These video interviews were recorded, allowing for me to analyse them in-depth to validate and invalidate certain aspects of our concepts.
The initial concept for an 'Employer Brand Home'. this design suffered from trying to address an excess of requests and requirements from stakeholders.
An update to the concept of 'Employer Brand Home' featuring improved hierarchy, UX writing and aesthetic.
The concept for the employee value proposition page. Existing field components were utilised and updated to work with the requirements.
A 'Fake Door' test was set up to gauge interest in the feature for existing users and what direction future iterations might take.
Iteration
Off the back of the interview videos with our SMEs, as well as internal testing, I was able to identify several opportunities to improve the designs. User journey maps were created using the information gleaned from testing and interviews and multiple rounds of iterations were undertaken. Changes spanning from improved UX writing, categorisation of different sections and key features such as the way we handled the “differentiators” or perks that align with employer brand values, were all addressed.
Conclusion
As our AI capabilities grow and our use of AI in the product becomes more and more integrated into our user’s workflows, the importance of AI Employer Brand has grown. We are currently integrating the AI Prototype we have validated for the Voice Profiles feature and will be bringing EVP profile in next.
Updated navigation and categorisation based on AI usage and testing
Important updates to interface components to allow for changes to important employer brand information such as groups (job families) and differentiators.
